Brief History:

The ABS Group was founded by two members of the current Board in the late 1980's, with the objectives of supplying primary and secondary alloys and metals, recycled packaging products, and distribution services.

Since its formation the company has successfully grown into a international group of companies specialising in high value alloys and metals procurement and recycling.

The Group's headquarters are based in South Yorkshire, England, with recycling and processing facilities located in the USA and South Africa, and with further sales offices based in Germany, France and China.

The Group's core business is the recycling and processing of primary and secondary alloys and metals. Materials are sourced from a wide variety of industries on a global basis then processed and zoned for use in the most appropriate application.

Alloy blending and supply of cobalt, chrome, copper, iron, molybdenum, nickel, niobium, tantalum, titanium, tungsten, vanadium, zirconium.

Working within robust quality assured processes we utilise laboratory analytical facilities with spectrometry, x-ray flouresence, fuess spark and wet chemistry, with all the basic metal processing and cleaning facilities and ingot production facility.
