Brief History of the ABS Group

ABS Distribution Services was founded by the current Managing Director Brian Beckett and fellow Directors Ben Aylward and Kevin Sheehan with the objectives of supplying primary and secondary alloys and metals, recycled packaging products, and distribution services. In the following years the operations of the group have extended into other complimentary areas of industrial supply namely powder metallurgy, forging and casting ingot, and most recently into oil industry component and high density tungsten alloy manufacture, metal ore mining and precious metal supply.

Now known as the ABS Industrial Resources Group (ABS Group) we have sister and subsidiary companies in France, Germany, South Africa, Central Africa, and the Far East, as well as our sites within the United Kingdom. Whilst maintaining and improving our market in the United Kingdom we have established and nurtured other business opportunities and interests synergising with our core activities.
