Special Metals Supplies are a manufacturer of high quality engineered metal products. These are produced from molybdenum, tantalum, tungsten and niobium, and various alloys of these pure metals. We stock all ranges of plate, sheet, foils, rods & wires.

We have a dedicated and knowledgeable sales and production team with many years experience in the refractory metals industry.

Our production centre is located at a new purpose built unit near Sheffield in central England. This gives us excellent access to the road, rail and airport networks (only 2 minutes drive from Junction 33 on the M1 and Sheffield airport).

We hold all the facilities required for rolling, guillotining, sawing & water jet cutting, and we are specialists in the rolling of Tantalum for cross rolled fine grain structure sheet and foil. All products are supplied to ASTM standards with chemical analysis and certificates of conformity.

All products are produced through the company’s ISO 9001: 2000 quality assurance system. Continual verification of supplier’s production methods and quality controls is carried out, all supplies are subject to rigorous inspection process and we source from suppliers who guarantee consistent and constant supply.

The factory operates as a rapid response service centre maintaining an express delivery capability, operating on a next day delivery basis for most “cut & pack” products. Delivery within a few days for “rolled to order” sheet and foil products is available. We can also offer long-term call-off option at fixed price, delivery within a few days of request.
